The School Board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. is canceled due to a lack of quorum to proceed.
The School Board has scheduled a Special meeting for Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., in the School Board Meeting Room at the Lee County Public Education Center, 2855 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL.
Notice of Rule Development, Proposed Rulemaking, and Public Hearing
Due to the cancellation of the November 21, 2023 meeting, the policies that were previously advertised in the October 24, 2023 edition of the Fort Myers NewsPress for a Public Hearing on November 21, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. will be heard at the Special meeting scheduled for November 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the School Board Meeting Room at the Lee County Public Education Center, 2855 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. The above policies are being adopted in compliance with changes in related rules, regulations, and statutes; to adopt best practices and to promote transparency and accountability. The effective date of the policies mentioned above is November 28, 2023.
